    In addition to paid time off there also floating time off and as you spend more time with company time off period increases

    VSP's health insurance premiums for its HMO are high, but the plan is very good. However, beginning in 2015, VSP is no longer offering its HMO plan. Everyone will be forced into an HSA to help balance health care costs.

Best thing about the benefits was the retirement. Nice matching 401k with bonuses to add to it each year. Worst thing was the health insurance with a high deductible plan, it's great if you are healthy, but if you have any conditions you are out your high deductible before the plan even kicks in. Also because of workforce management you have to schedule your vacation months in advance in hopes of getting to use your time.

The vision care is free, the dental has little to no cost and there is no cost for medical, but with high deductibles.

The best thing about the benefits is the separation of sick and vacation time. The bad thing is it has a high deductible health plan which covers nothing until you reach an insane deductible. And then, things are only covered at 80%...For people who do not get paid a high salary, this plan is not ideal as it costs a lot out of pocket.
