Great industry perks, health and dental, 401k. Not a highly paid job, but the benefits are good.
Long work hours with very minimum compensation and appreciation.
You receive an EPIC ski pass as an employee that gets you access to all Vail Resorts Mountains. There are also opportunities for discounted lodging and food. Insurance and 401k benefits are only offered to full-time, year-round employees, and these positions are severely limited by the seasonal nature of the winter sports retail environment.
it's really pretty good. No complaints.
Cost plus 10% for merch, free ski pass and flex time off.
Always work holidays with no extra pay or incentives. The least skier benefits of any resort job (comp tickets, free rentals etc.) Free Epic Pass for yourself and dependents. 30% off retail for retail employees. 20% off retail for mountain employees. 50% off food and beverage.
I refused benefits due to having them already but employees were given free ski passes to all resorts. Which if you like to ski, snowboard and can weather the snow is worth time spent working there.
Health Insurance, 401k, discounts, dental, vision.
Health/Dental/Vision, 401k (matching after 1 year), free ski pass, deep discounts on gear.
Compensation was the best. The worst is black out days you cannot ask for time off.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
