Low rates, good coverage for the whole family. Great discount to give birth at the hospital there as well.
It is very limited considering it is such a large hospital and such a large network.
I work at Vanderbilt for access to the best health insurance and physicians in the area.
Best thing is the cost and coverage can't beat it for what you get.
Expensive, high co-pays and deductibles
I had an appendectomy while employed at Vanderbilt University, I made it to the Vanderbilt Emergency Room to be treated. I never had to pay for any of my treatment.
Very affordable insurance and on-site health care facilities.
They only have one provider option, Aetna. There is a 20% coinsurance in addition to the premiums, deductibles, and copays. The rates are higher if you go outside of Vanderbilt. I had a hard time finding a specialist who accepted aetna and was taking new patients.
Decent health benefits, pretty reasonable
It is comparable to other companies but like all health insurance is must be properly planned. A health savings account is included and can be prove useful
