Tutor work from home and can also work in person.
you can clock in and clock out when you want. Work from your couch
Working from home on your own schedule. There is no other form of work for them when you're a tutor.
I meet about half of my clients online, and Varsity's online tutoring platform is generally well-received and very user-friendly.
Best thing: you can work from home Worst thing: the work from home is compensated at 15$/hour
Paid 15$ an hour for WFH and 23 for in person. It doesn't really seem worth my time to upload a bunch of content in advance for the 15$ rate. Their online ACT tools are not great, so they wouldn't help much.
Working from home is great.
The best part is that you are only as alone as you want to be. There is a live instant messenger conversation that goes on all day that you can participate in for assistance or to have "cooler talk." There is also a lot of opportunity to interact with trainers and leaders via live video conference calls and trainings. Working from home you do not really feel as though you are missing the personal interaction of a traditional office at all.
Flexible schedule with no real downside besides pay
I like that you can set your own hours. It is no problem if a student is sick and unable to do the session because you haven't travelled anywhere.
