Multiple options, solid coverage available
Benefits are on the lower end; 401K Match, no HSA company contribution. Expect at least $7K out of pocket for family medical unless you select a very expensive medical plan that reduces out of pocket.
reasonable increase in vacation based on longevity
Seems like each year we get less and less
Paid time off policies are dated. There is some ability to negotiate, but difficult to compete with other companies. While there are many healthcare insurance options, the plans are horribly expensive.
More comprehensive plans were pretty expensive. Overall the benefits were pretty basic. There is a decent 401k match plan.
401k, 15 days of vacation for a new hire, decent benefits but expensive, needs work from home options
Time off was split between 10 Vacation days and 5 FMLA (Sick) days, rather than a pool of 15 days to be used as needed. This led to a temptation to "call in sick" for the sake of sparing vacation time. The best part of the benefits was finally getting a choice of providers, even if they constantly increased in price each year.
Overall Veritiv has a good benefits package.
Longevity a plus with over twenty years employed with xpedx. Nothing consistent year to year since merged with Unisource.
