Vacation and Paid time off are really good!! The reason I gave 4 star instead of 5 is because you can never take off time around Thanksgiving and Christmas and when you don't live near family that makes it extremely hard during the holidays! I worked for a company once that would do if you got around Thanksgiving off you would work Christmas time or vice versa. This at least made it where you could spend one holiday a year with family.

At least average compared to industry. No comp time for OT, which is plentiful. For example, worked four 12 hour days then still had to burn a vacation day to take Friday off.

Most typically get more time off then they can use in a year due to increased workloads

It's not what it used to be, but if you can convince someone to give you the time off it's paid for. Expect limitations, expectations, and screwball scheduling before and after your time off. And don't get used to holidays.
