We have 9, but we work we just get an extra floating day
If you happen to be scheduled on a holiday you get paid more but it rarely happened.
It’s retail: they never close the stores so if you are store based employees you do not get the holiday off and oftentimes may not request it off. You do get time and a half pay. Upper level management gets the day off and if they work it they get to take a different day that week off paid.
Generally you would get time and a half if you got stuck working on the holidays. As far as paid vacation, that was more for anyone who was full-time.
Paid holidays were great, but with any retailer its weather you get to use them or not.
We were compensated for time and a half based on federal holidays.
Based on the amount of work performed two weeks is not enough.n
Managers are required to work holidays and receive floating holidays for certain ones worked..good luck getting a chance to take it within 30 days!
On holidays when the store was open we got time and a half. So any extra is nice
you work holidays so no holiday pay
