    The company is non profit. For a non-profit they do have okay plans. Their health insurance is expensive though its a tier plan with BCBSMA

    These benefits correspond ONLY to my personal experience as a Per Diem Employee, working 16 hours per week!!! Other positions have more benefits offered, depending upon your scheduled hours and employment status, starting at 30 hours per week, which is considered "Part-Time Regular" employment status. The only "Retirement Plan" I get is a 403(b) Plan, to which Vinfen doesn't contribute - it ALL comes out of my own pocket. Also, please note that you get a discount on a "Gym Membership", NOT a free one.

    I feel the benefits package is okay. I have worked in similar jobs in the past that have allowed vacation to be taken when I wanted whether I had time banked or not. I also had more control over my schedule which enabled me to be more flexible with my schedule and clients schedules. At times our work can be stressful, so vacation time to regroup is important. Sick time adds up quickly which is nice. FMLA time can be used if your ill more than four days in a row. Dental/Health I haven't had to pay anything for other than co-payments and the pay that comes out of my checks monthly. In addition, it's nice to have majority of holidays off or the option to take them within a few weeks before or after the actual holiday. I dislike working major holidays as it's time I'd like to spend with my own family. They also offer retirement plans but with recent changes in the annual enrollment in health insurance, if you happen to miss it you'll go without health insurance for a full year. Overall, I think the benefits are okay.
