No meal reimbursement when traveling on day trips for work. Only allows for $0.24 per mile reimbursement when using personal car. No process for benefits suggestions/requests/feedback from employees.

VDOT does not provide any benefits to contract workers. The ratio of contract IT workers to permanent FT is 60% contract. Not only do FT employees have good benefits, they are also treated much better in every way. Contract workers are treated very poorly, including unpaid holidays, and no benefits of any kind.
