Great benefits here. 9% 401k match (after 3 year vestment period). Lease program is really good and comes with preferred parking, even if you don't drive a VW product they provide a shuttle. Health care is very good and there are tons of discounts and perks for local businesses.
As a contract position, the benefits are not good. Poor health insurance, no access to company leasing program, and no profit sharing.
No benefits as a contractor
Decent benefits package including: HSA, 401k (Traditional or Roth) with 4% match if contributing 5%, Cigna medical and dental and 2 weeks starting vacation plus holiday closure period. High deductible insurance plans and small retirement match are lagging compared to average within the area. Car leasing program is okay with insurance included at 1.5% of vehicles MSRP. Overall, program could be better. Education benefits are laughable.
Pay and benefits are good
Do NOT come here as a contractor. If you are a contractor (50% of the people here are), you will get laughably bad benefits through your staffing agency. The PTO for both contractors and employees are mediocre at best. You get 10 vacation days that need to accumulate and no sick days. Staffing agencies aren't that transparent about this, most likely because VW aren't that transparent to the staffing agencies. No flexible scheduling either. For whatever reason, contractors are expected to drive their beater Toyota five days a week at their own cost and do everything as an employee. Meanwhile, full-time employees (again, only 50% of the building) drive their company Audi and VW's and get, you know, real benefits.
The Company Lease program is a great benefit and provides employees access to some of the newest vehicles to come out for the brands.
Great Benefits, but hours ar e ifify
My contract house changed package plus treat us unfairly
I was a contract employee, so I didn't have benefits.
