Only after 1 year of employment
I've never used it but I do know you get time off I do not believe its paid time though
Like virtually all companies in the United States of America there needs to be more time allowed for maternity and paternity leave. This company is cruel for not allowing parents to bond with their children and forcing them to work too soon or risk getting fired.
I honestly don't know much about this, but I met an employee that worked for VONS while she was pregnant and when she left to have her babies (she had twins), the managers were very nice and she was allowed to work after a few months.
When I was pregnant they gave me very small paid leave and that wasn't enough I was forced to work most of my pregnancy and then I wasn't given as much time as I'd have liked afterward.
6 weeks plus optional FMLA leave
