Profit sharing - based on company performance. Essentially, free money given to you by the company each year. Not the worst thing but it would be nice if employees could invest in the profit sharing plan.
Grainger's benefits are awesome! From the beginning you get 18 PTO days. After one year you are eligible for two weeks of short term disability. The insurance packages offered are vast and cover everything you could need. The only negative I ever heard from co-workers was when the short term disability outside services company would not agree with the doctor about how many weeks you needed off.

The benefits started on the first day of employment. First year employees start earning 1.5 days of vacation after you complete 30 days. The benefit plan I selected had the company putting $1,000 into my HSA account my first year.
