time off is earned with each pay check based rather than front loaded making the time more valuable. Flexible scheduling allows more family time. Matching retirements options are availble.

Health insurance seemed affordable, good benefits package overall. Good amount of sick and vacation time offered.

The best thing about the WVU Medicine Benefits package is the ability to choose the benefits that best meet my family needs.

WVU Medicine has decent benefits for their employees. I, however, did not partake in the program, but I did sit through the presentation.

The worst thing about the benefit program is that the health insurance is too expensive and the physician billing is added to a charge for the office visit and you have two charges and the copays are high and you are directed to go to many appointments and then your testing you have to wait for and then when you get a test done you have to wait for days to get the results and when you do they have you immediately go to the ER because they miss a significant diagnosis.

Healthcare is affordable with great benefits to match. Tuition program is awesome, employees with >5 years employment can send dependents to WVU schools tuition free.

The benefits use to be good and competitive but over the years they've gradually gotten worse. They're revamping their program in 2019, which takes even more away from the employees. Premiums are going up again another year. If we don't use their facility, we could possibly pay more on the deductible. We don't earn as much PTO, I'm back to earning what I was several years ago when I first started. They took away time and a half for working holidays and replaced it with a floating holiday(PTO to use another day). Which isn't too bad but giving up a holiday should have weight to it. Overall, they haven't given us more in any area, it's stagnant or we've lost benefits. I personally can't find any perks. For being a healthcare facility, they don't seem to care about people that much anymore.

Health insurance is fair but copays and deductibles are to high and the retirement needs to be matched at a higher percentage.

The price of the medical insurance has been increasing every year for less coverage. Thanks ObamaCare
