I never received any kind of performance bonus. Only the holiday bonus which was minimal.
I got a bonus one summer but not the next summer, I was pretty disappointed. But I also got a small raise the second summer so maybe it balances out .
Performance bonuses can equate to 4%-10% of the revenue you bring in. This can rack up to tens of thousands of dollars. Highest bonus I received my first year was $20,000.
1st year bonus opportunity is healthy. You are also given grace periods of 6 months plus on most technology fees, office fees, etc. They want you to succeed.
Good for exempt not so much for non exempt.
Depends on your department for your performance bonus.
