80/20 covered. I was taking medication that cost $200,000 a year and I only had to pay $6000 out of pocket a year
Good health insurance , no support, or bonuses
Baptist does not offer Maternity or Paternity Leave. My spouse is an APP and I worked in IT. They laid me off when we were 30 weeks pregnant. We’re home now with our new baby and my spouse has used up their BTO. My spouse is collecting short term disability, so we’re down to a fraction of or typical household income. Doctors and leaders have unlimited time off, while staff struggle to make ends meet when they try to welcome their new babies into the word. And when staff try to return after such a traumatic medical procedure and life change, they have no BTO when daycare calls because their kid picked up a stomach bug. I find it shameful to boast maternity and paternity leave as a benefit, when only a small fraction of Baptist employees are entitled to it. If you’re a health care professionals in the area, consider Novant. They treat their people better than Baptist.
