Expensive health care programs, vision and dental is available. Couldn't find cheaper insurance on my own.

The Walmart health insurance is NOT available to all employees. What is offered to eligible employees is expensive and doesn't not provide great value for associates with what little it offers.

    Different plans with different rates

  • Nov 11, 2015

I guess it's better than not having health insurance but it is a bit pricey.

  • Nov 06, 2015
Former Overnight Stocker in Anniston, Alabama

    It's stripped down to nothing

  • Nov 05, 2015

I never held health insurance at walmart. I reviewed it and found that it was to high for the coverage you receive and overall just to expensive for the hours and pay you make.

The best thing about Walmart insurance is that they gave you several option plans, and the worst is that some 0lans were very high and they kept changing companies every year.
