Walmart has really good benefits
Walmart is a good place to work, however they don't offer the same persk as most tech companies in the area. The benefits don't really compare, no real PTO, no free food, and the health insurance is expensive.
Great unlimited paid time off. Flexible timings. Good health insurance, 401K match.
Best: Good culture / good cafeteria food. Worst: differentiate between FTE and contractors. Contractors are treated a second class citizen.
Best 401k in bay area. Beats google, amazon etc on 401k. dollar to dollar match upto 6%. no maximum match amount. Associates can elect to contribute to 401k from salary, bonus, spot bonuses, vacation cashouts and get a dollar to dollar match up to 6%. That translates to 10 to 13k in company contributions for a senior engineer.
no benefits for part time
Not a good experience
401k is great. The health insurance has high deductibles. If you are pretty healthy you will pay out of pocket most of the year for everything except preventive care.
401k March and bonus were the best, medical benefits subpar vs other bay area companies
You have options for basic medical and dental, which is good. You are paying more out of pocket compared to other leading tech benefits. There are also limited/hard to find options for mental health services. Work from home is for if you're sick or have family responsibilities.
