    The worst part of the benefits is that they pay 100% retirement. Therefore, if you leave before you are vested all of the money stays with the district/pers. Your retirement time is wasted if you don't stay.

    Good health insurance package at reasonable cost. Vacation accrual initially 2 weeks, then 3 weeks after 5 years, same as sick leave. Yearly 2 personal business days available using sick leave hours.

    The PPO isn't too bad, though, unfortunately the school district has had to limit its health plan to a single hospital system.

    If you work leads than 27.5 hours you're or of luck as far as benefits go. I love what I do and don't need benefits so it's ok.

    Good Medical for you, adding family onto medical is very expensive. Sick leave is very good, you will need it when you get all those sick germs from the kiddos! Only 1 personal day a year.
