“Health insurance is pretty good and is looked at regularly for improvements”
Pros: - WFH - Unlimited PTO - Good healthcare benefits - Growth Opportunities (promote within) Cons: - No 401k Match
Unlimited PTO, work from home policy
Very flexible benefits package. Dental and vision benefits are especially good. In addition, Jim and the rest of HR are great at answering questions about it.
Great benefits, company equity, 401k plan, and unlimited vacation policy!
Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?
Unlimited vacation and they actually mean it
Since I was a brand ambassador for my university, I did not receive benefits of any kind. Except if you got at least 100 signups, the head of marketing would write you a recommendation letter.
The benefits at WayUp are more than just the packet they give you on day one. Beyond tax-free commuter services, health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, stock options, 3 weeks PTO, 40 sick hours, dog-friendly office, countless snacks, cold brew on tap, Weekly team lunches, etc. Most employees have the ability to work from home once they are ramped if the weather is bad or they aren't feeling 100% There are team outings for each department and a company-wide outing each quarter. Weekly meetings make sure everyone in the company is in the loop and there are always drinks and laughs.
WayUp made a significant investment in their benefits package at the start of 2018 and it's really a great package. Robust offering and when I reached out to their customer support for assistance, they got back to me in less than two hours via email (I hate phone calls). The mobile app is pretty decent as well. I appreciate this kind of benefits package because my health is important to me.
No benefits were offered to ambassadors but a good way to get marketing and social media marketing experience for students.
401k, great insurance (health, vision, dental), flexible WFH (especially during summer), annual retreat, team offsites, equity for all employees
