They provide good benefit package.
Benefits were great. They were very reasonable in comparison to what I'm paying now. Generous Paid Time Off and Holidays.
The BCBS insurance is pretty darn good but if you have a spouse, you will now be charged a spousal surcharge fee. Having the BCBS allows you to go pretty much everywhere which is nice as a lot of companies try to regulate where you go. The sick and vacation time is all combined which sucks because if you take vacation and then fall ill, your time will be drained as opposed to your sick bank kicking in for the illness. Don't get your hopes up for a yearly raise though as some people have been with the company for over 10 years and haven't received a raise in the last 5. The company doesn't match the retirement like they used to since they have racked up so much debt, so if your saving for retirement expect to contribute enough that it will matter. Management can instantly become funny acting when it comes to time off especially if you do a bunch of things that they otherwise don't want to do. You can take maternity leave but it also comes out of your vacation bank which caps out at a certain number of hours and then you will just stop receiving vacation in your bank until you take time off. Once your bank is empty, you can remain on leave if it's not time for you to return to work but the time off will be unpaid time off.
great benefits, your time off you gain is awesome... no weekends.
