Typical policies regarding sick leave. Must call in each day of illness. Several consecutive days of sickness require doctor's note. Any unused sick leave hours are paid out at one half the hourly wage for a given employee in January of each year.
If you were sick, you got the day off. they did frown up on it, and understood. No pay.
I was never allowed to take a sick day. I was made to work even while sick enough to vomit on worksite.
