There is a 401(k) savings program at Wegmans for employees.
Wegmans does a great job with their 401k plan benefits, you can save up to 10 percent of your check each week and the company will match 6 percent of that.
3 percent match for the first 6 percent contributed. The company has historically given bonuses in the form of retirement contributions to full-timers. Its 2 percent through the first 5 years, 3 percent years 6-10 and 4 percent from thereon. I get 6 percent contributed by the company a year.
They will actually match what you put in.
I haven't personally contributed but they contribute for me
Easy to use and track
They match half of your 401K contribution to a max match of 3%, so contributing anymore than 6% wouldn't net you extra, but that's still significant in the long run.
Competitive with other retail companies.
available to all employees over the age of 21
I never used it so im unsure but, it was offered to all employees regardless of age. So as a part time high school employee you had the option.
the 401k plan was your standard retirement fund that took out money before you got your paycheck and the company matches it to a certain percent.
