Questionable value of health insurance plan. High deductible and mandatory wellness plan with non-compliance penalty.
It takes you at least two years of working there part time to accumulate and vacation. It's ridiculous. And you don't really get holiday pay, you get an extra day off instead so instead of getting paid for 48 hours like most companies would do (40 full time hours + 8 hours holiday pay), you get paid for 40 hours (32 hours for full timers + 8 hours of holiday pay). So they don't have to pay you extra. Same concept for part timers too.
The worst thing about the benefits package is that there wasn’t one. They keep hours right below 40 to avoid giving any.
You get 3 weeks in advance to request days off or just call out like other people do at my Weis. The job is fun just do what you have to do to get the job and move up in the company cause you'll get paid more!
