Suppose that you roll a dice. For each roll, you are paid the face value. If a roll gives 4,5 or 6, you can roll the dice again. If you get 1, 2 or 3, the game stops. What is the expected payoff of this game?
The training is ok, but when you actually get into your store not all goes as you were trained for.
Train on your own and self.
You sit on a computer and do modules. Then you wait a week to work on the front end register.
It sucks because they want you to watch the video then automatically do the task you watched alone.
Training time was not nearly long enough. It was one day of just shadowing another employee.
Old computer program boring
I spent eight hours on a laptop trying to learn everything in Wendy's, from cashiering to grilling. I didn't complete it all, and was thrown on grill anyway. Four hours of grill were spent being coached, and the rest was working alone.
I was expected to learn how to use everything from an online course, and then thrown on grill for hands-on training for my first half of my first full shift. Past that, I was alone. Eight hours were training on a computer, four hours were hands-on training for the grill only, and then every hour past that was grill, alone.
Training was ok. Could be better
