Many options to supplement the normal benefits, at a decent price. However, the price itself is still high compared to other options, and the price for the supplemental is not a great price but it is convenient.
Callous policy to not pay out any accrued and unused PTO/vacation to exiting employees unless REQUIRED by employee's state law is nearsighted, but totally in line with the leadership mentality of this company. Every single benefit has been trimmed to the absolute bare bones over the years and the disgruntled attitude of employees, as well as the mass exodus from this company is a clear indicator that they value revenues over their people. RUN RUN RUN from this company.
In the last 2 years I was there, my insurance almost doubled what I had to pay every check. I was literally paying $450 a month for a silver plan for just my husband and myself.
best - lots of options worst - you have to pay for these; not a lot of subsidizing
The benefits package was not airways the best except for the PTO but now the 401k company match was slashed to 6% and we lost BCBS .
They offer the standard benefits nothing special, but a whole hell of a lot more expensive on their Medical. I swapped from Company provided to a market place and am now with a much better plan at about the same price. Their low end, Bronze and Bronze+, packages were going to cost me over $300 per check. I have a Silver plan, without the tax help, at about the same cost per month.
Best: 401k matching and stock options. Worst: Vacation/sick time limited, especially for the first full year of employment, health costs are high for mediocre plans and plan prices change (typically by going higher) almost every year. Dental and vision are included, but super limited.
Health insurance costs continue to go up and provider options continue to be more limited. To add more misery, no consideration is taken for cost of living salary increases to balance it all out.
PTO is very good after first year
Vacation, health benefits, 401k, flexible work hours, and phone discount. Wish they had a better tuition package for continuing education.
