I like the fact we have floating holidays and pto . It comes in handy in situations that life throws and still know you get paid

You accrue so many hours, but once it is time to use them your manager and PDMs go against you for using that extra time. What's the purpose of sick and vacation time, if nothing is ever approved.

Former Registered Dental Assistant in Visalia, California

I worked for Western Dental for several years. I never received paid time off. Vacation periods were scheduled months in advance, and management needed monthly reminders. The management / company did not have compassion for individuals with valid illnesses or disabilities. Administration would work in mysterious ways to "let go" those type of individuals. This company was also very discriminatory.

It's PTO but nothing special or great about it.
