Plan is about average for a company this size.
The 401K plan is a plus.
Benefits were really very good. I cannot say anything negative about the benefits. They took care of their employees well.
401k, paid time off, vacation
Merit raise is above normal; no year end performance bonus.
The best thing about Westinghouse benefits was pension plan, but it has gone. The worst part of the benefits was the medical insurance, the coverage was not good and the deductible was really high.
Flexible work arrangements are decided by the particularly departments and groups within Westinghouse. Some get the opportunity to work some or all days from home. Some don't. Some get to work 9/80 arrangements, Some don't.
Vacation time is excellent considering every other Friday off schedule, 401K is decent
Decent vacation: 3 weeks to start, 4 weeks at 10 years, 5 weeks (max) at 20 years (for full-time exempt employees). No sick time which is bad. 11 paid holidays per year. 401k matches 50 cents on the dollar up to a 3% match (you contribute 6%). Also a bonus 3% given at the end of each calendar year if you are employed as of December 31. Health insurance is costly and only getting worse. $100 per month "working spouse fee" if your spouse is covered by the Westinghouse policy instead of taking their company's offer. Not many other perks...no bonuses, small or non-existent raises.
401k and Roth 401k options.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
