I really liked the benefits package. I received sufficient medical coverage on top of great pay. Couldn't ask for much more.
The option to work from home was generous and it was not frowned upon to do so a few times every week.
If you joined the company early enough, you get a pension and a 401K match. The health insurance has gotten worse and more expensive over the years.
Benefits are exactly what you would expect from a company this size. The company is very giving in terms of volunteer hours, and work hours can be flexible depending on the role.
Overall pretty good benefits. Only negative is only one choice for health care coverage and a high deductible plan.
hot work environment inside. noisy
Roth 401k now) and high deductible health care. They like to think that working in the Corporate HQ is a benefit - but it's as others have described - beautiful, but like a soul-less library, zero energy.
Great benefits package when the company was plum creek. Vanguard 401K with 6% match plus a pension. Pretty much unheard of to get a pension and a 401k match.
Pretty comprehensive and competitive benefits package overall. Took some time to get used to the high-deductible medical plan after we switched from co-pay plans, but now I prefer it because I've saved a good nest egg in my HSA due to lower per-pay-check premiums.
401k match 3% per 6% employee contribution plus 5% gross pay into 401k for free.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
