Wheeler Clinic matches HSA account
The best part of the insurance is that you are given the option of setting up an HSA or just a regular insurance plan. You’re also given a certain amount of money every other year to purchase glasses AND given a certain amount of money you could use towards contact lenses.
Pretty decent benefits which includes paid time off, 403B, health insurance. Working in the program that I worked in, I very often had to work over 40 hours per week (EMPS) and there was no compensation for working overtime or working a holiday.
Average insurance. It was not something I used much during the time I worked there. I did enjoy that they did company matching to the 403B up to a certain amount, so when I left I had a nice bonus to my pay.
The best thing is after a year you get 4 weeks of vacation. However they don't do a match for the 403(b).
Non-exempt employees start out with 10 days of vacation time, plus 3 floating holidays and 2 personal days. Exempt employees start with 15 days of vacation, plus the same floating holidays and personal days. Very good health insurance coverage. Accrue sick time that carries over year to year. 401 and life insurance also available.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
