Whirlpool grants paid time off and holiday pay.
Starting with 2 weeks per year and 3 weeks is very common as well. Flexibility to work from home some days helps.
Competitive with most employers. Allows flexibility in the summer with “summer hours”- ability to leave Friday at lunch if you worked your regular hours during the previous 4 days of that week. Flexibility is nice!
Comparable to other companies, not too bad
moves up every couple years 5 PTO days every year a lot of vacation days
Vacation plan is competitive, not great
Average use it or lose it policy
There are better systems. Average for corporate possition.
This seems pretty standard, you start at 10 days paid time off and after 5 years, it's 15 days and after 15 years it's 20 days paid time off. You also have the option of "purchasing" and extra week of time by foregoing pay for a week, but they spread it out over the year.
Hard to tell, but two weeks for 5 years employee is not a big deal.
management is flexible and supportive of people taking vacation
