  • Health Insurance  (30 comments)

“High deductibles with moderate-to-high copays for doctor's visits. It's cheaper to just not go to the doctor if you can avoid it.”

  • Vacation & Paid Time Off  (20 comments)

“Accrues in real time, but heavily imbalanced depending on your level of tenure at the company. Also, sick and personal time must come out of your PTO...”

  • 401K Plan  (15 comments)

“You are immediately vested in your 401K contributions.”

Really good health insurance (BCBS of IL) for a lower-level job like their in-house out-sourced personnel have.

Horrible health insurance (PPO has a deductible of $800), and PTO is extremely tenure-based, meaning newer employees only receive 15 days while employees who have been with the company for 15 years have 35 days, creating a vast imbalance between work loads.

Full health, dental, and vision. 1/2 paid by you, 1/2 paid by company. Health insurance plans have 3 tiers for you to choose from. They will cover spouses and family. I have the highest tier w/ BlueCross/BlueShield PPO. I've never had any troubles seeing any doctor I choose. 401K is matching up to 3% of your salary. Vacation days are gained at a rate of 1 day per month to start. This figure goes up a day every 5 years you're at the company. You may roll over your vacation days into the next year. There are the standard US federal holidays. There are options to enroll in therapy and a legal plan if you need it. These plans are at the company price. There's also a gym perk that lets you go to any gym on a list for $25/mo. LA Fitness is in that list, so is YMCA. It is not city restricted. NO EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT. They will not pay if you decide to go back to school or take a course to improve your skills.
