Windstream self insures, so only high deductible plans available through United Healthcare. These are still expensive, and the annual costs are exorbitant. Additionally, you'll be fighting for coverage of prescriptions.
Health Insurance for the 2018 season are abysmal. High deductibles, 20% co-insurance after the deductible is met. Least expensive plan has a deductible of $1875 I believe and maximum out of pocket is up to $3500. With the current medical care I need right now, and a single adult with no dependents or spouse to lean on, I personally cannot afford Windstream's cheapest plan.
Choice of 3 high deductible plans, lowest deductible is the most expensive, of course. There are options for HSA and FSA and Windstream does contribute to these.
Only three levels of options, deductibles
Typical of today in corporate
High deductible but flex spending is available.
