The company itself provides an extra 2 weeks. That's awesome!
We've had 3 kids while working with Windstream, they have been more than thank flexible

There is Maternal and Paternal leave
Did get 8 weeks full pay since I was 8 years in, but unpaid after (unless you use all vacation and sick time) that and no paternity leave

Windstream meets the corporate standard for Maternity and Paternity Leave.
I don't know any new father's who get a considerable amount of time for this. They generally use Vacation time until they come back. Mother's get the leave provided under FMLA but it is unpaid unless they qualify for short-term disability. Which will only kick in after they use at least 7 days of personal vacation time first.
I believe we have a great maternity leave plan.
This benefit seems to be ok.
