I do not have coverage with Winn Dixie at this time. I will start on their plan soon.

Excellent coverage. Great for long or short term care. Paid even after I left.

Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida if you live in Florida that's great but if you live in Alabama a lot of doctors don't accept it.

Before the AHA, i didn't have any experience with insurance. I suppose it is adequate. The deductibles seem high ($2500 for the mid-tier, $1000 for top tier) I rarely get medical help, but i do see a Psychiatrist once a month and that can be expensive. Helps with medication but you have to use the store pharmacy. I have some dental work that needs done that doesn't seem to be covered (was listed as a preexisting condition, and the corrective procedure was listed as cosmetic and not covered. But the cost of regular checkups and screenings are usually included.

The worst thing about the health insurance is that it was not very helpful, you were not able to have much coverage so you weren't able to go to the doctor a lot of times

Current Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist in Birmingham, Alabama

High deductible, but covers most stuff. Like prescriptions and referrals are not needed

Current Frozen/Dairy Associate in Miramar, Florida

The health insurance is almost more than I can afford in return for basically nothing. I am much better off on my parents plan for now.

The best thing is the dental only has a $70 deductible and once you reach that you get cleanings, checkups and many other things free or at a very reduced price.
