    Health insurance has been declining. Almost all staff have been forced into HSA accounts. If you are healthy or/and you don’t have a dependent/family, that might work for you.

    Pricey health insurance options. They are transitioning from a PPO to a HSA style insurance plans, which means high up-front costs for the employee.

    Thank you for your review of Winston & Strawn benefits. We receive much positive feedback on our comprehensive benefit program which includes medical, dental, vision, life, long term disability, long term care, a tax free commuter program, back-up child and elder care an employee assistance program, discounts and more.

    The firm reviews the benefit market, with a focus on our peers, and makes adjustments on an annual basis. We are well within benchmarks by focusing on Health Savings Accounts (HSA) options alongside a traditional PPO. We have a “medical plan cost estimator tool” which allows participants to view the expected cost under each plan. Many choose an HSA option due to the ability to save tax free money for future medical, dental and vision expenses. The HSA deductible is lower than that of the PPO option.

    Health insurance is good, generous 401k contribution once you qualify after a few years, time off benefits are the archaic system where sick days are separate from vacation days instead of PTO like most companies
