WorldStrides offers competitive benefits for the area.
On recruitment, there were promises of discount travel, VIP deals at hotels, and other benefits. On hiring and inquiry, those are available to senior management and top salespeople only. I was not interviewing for sales & the path to Sr. Mgt. was withheld.
Cigna was a really bad health insurance plan
Great gym benefit and exercise culture, many people go to the local gym at lunch.
Health insurance is costly for the coverage provided. Great culture and friendly co-workers.
Health insurance was pretty decent—WS paid a very large % of premiums and Centra is an okay provider in the area. The benefits, even the year-end bonus, did not make up for the very low salary offer, however, especially given the cost of living in the Charlottesville area for a family.
Everything is pretty standard, but they pay for half your membership and a fairly nice gym.
PTO bank, 401k after 90 days, medical+dental+vision after 30 days, STD/LTD, limited tuition reimbursement, IATAN membership
The benefits package was pretty good. Generous PTO and medical was not bad.
Could always use cheaper health insurance.
