Yes it is a very confortable company to work with
Maternity leave is two weeks. It used to be about two months, but they recently shortened it to two weeks so that it could be equal for men and women (maternity and paternity both 2 weeks). In what world can a women heal from giving birth in two weeks?!
The benefits package is really great for my family, insurance with BCBS is meeting all of our needs and there is a 401K company matched, along with a wellness program that provide for a discount on insurance premiums
BEST: Maternity leave ended up being 12 weeks full pay. Unheard of in America. I had short term disability for 6 weeks of it at 60% but I was paid the difference my first week back. MetLife accidentally shorted me about $2k and my HR lady caught it, informed me and had them cut me another check. They do try to give comparable benefits and encourage you to use your PTO. My leadership has repeatedly reminded our team to use up the hours that won't roll over to the next year (only 40hrs rolls). Recognition program - Employees can nominate a Manager and an Employee of the Quarter. The winner gets $3,500 towards a DreamTrip (company product) and an extra week of PTO to take the trip. WORST: The benefits get better the longer you are there, which makes sense. However, there were some pay/promotion policies put in place that promote turnover so very few people make it to the best benefits. The financial hardship the company is going through probably led to those policies, maybe in the future they will revise them.
401k match. Decent benefits. Pto was put for excused tardiness regardless of dr note or life priorities.
