“20% Employee discount on just about everything including tickets into the park.”
-Free Admission into the park AND any Cedar Fari park across the country. As well as Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO and Six Flags in St. Louis. -After you work a certain amount of hours you get free tickets to the park that last the entire season. -You can give your friends or family discounts into the park as well as discounts on food and other items as long as you're with them and aren't working. Employee discount is 20% off everything. -Travel assistance if you are a college student driving to work from college that is outside a 50-mile radius from the park. -Living assistance if you moved to the surrounding area from outside a 100-mile radius of the park. -Free Parking, but employees always have to park in a specific place even if they are coming in on their day off.
Seasonal employment they use you and then discard you for the next year. The people are the only good thing about this job that you work with.
The starting pay for my position, ticket seller, is $8.50, but there are perks, like free entry to the park, discounted tickets and once you work so many hours you get a number a comp passes for your family and friends
Being full-time seasonal is basically being part time. There are no benefits at all.
The benefits package for full-time associates is awesome!
Scholarships, Internships, Travel pay, Rent assistance, however they are all strict with tons of constraints so the perks are practically useless!
You working there is just like a hold pass you get some of the benifits that a gold pass does
The best thing is that you get unlimited free entries into the park. The worst part is that you do not really get much else.
None for seasonal employees.
This is a seasonal position, so there aren't any "perks" to speak of. Time off is a no-no because we don't have swings to cover roles, and any time someone misses a day, even for illness, it puts added physical strain on the rest of the cast. Benefits are essentially obsolete in this position.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
