They were very flexible about working from home.
There is built in software, but it doesn't work well for drawing. OneNote is much better, and google meet calls are better
You have the option of online tutoring, which is great.
I think most folks would love to work from home, I know I do. And I go out to my students homes. It's all good.
I work when it's convenient for me, and there are no minimum requirements. I have been able to have another job or do this job while a full-time student. As a person with a chronic illness, I am not able to work full-time, nor can I keep a part-time job long term, but tutoring allows me to support myself. Doing on-line applications for each individual student, using the Wyzant calendar to schedule appointments, and submitting lesson summaries electronically make it so easy. All I need is a working phone and a reliable car to have my own business.
WyzAnt allows tutors to schedule their own hours and choose where they will meet with students.
It is possible to work from home when conducting online lessons and their platform for this is well developed. However, I have found that most clients prefer in person meetings anyway.
Dress code is up to you.
You do all your work from home. There's no office.
Our company is very communicative - everyone is on email or Slack all day, so it's easy to remain collaborative while working from home. The company is very flexible in allowing WFH when necessary.
