Met up with a friend in another country. Originally he didn't want to which I was fine with. Then he said sure once I backed off... when we met up he wanted me to book everything and plan out the days. He wanted me to convince him to do things. Like wtf. He's like I'm good with anything n then would be like I don't want to eat this or do xyz. And on top He was just bitching about his cousin...like bro I'm on vacation keep your shit to yourself. What is wrong with him

Anyone else annoyed at “what’s the best xyz?” Questions? What’s best is what’s best for YOU - not someone else. I’m not talking about places like the wirecutter that actually research and provide product recommendations. I’m talking about “what’s the best use of my vacation time?” “What’s the best watch?” Etc etc. think for yourselves people!!

I accepted an offer and started working full-time with XYZ company this week. The pay wasn’t competitive, only $54k base, though the benefits are great. However, I just got an offer from a competitor for a role that I am passionate about. It’s $56k base and $5000 sign on bonus. I seriously don’t know what to do and I’m thinking about quitting, even though I just started working four days ago… thoughts? Will I get black listed?
