You get paid for job training even if you do it outside of your work hours.
its not good i think they are so goreoc
no real benefits including retirement plan or vacation time. the only thing you get is a discounted membership.
Training was ok, requires a lot of hands on work
A few videos, some shadowing, and minimal training was provided. However, on going opportunities were provided for continuing education.
There is training but it’s sporadic. Not as consistent as is not only desired but truly needed.

Training varies from conferences to in house trainings. Supervisors can advocate for staff to take trainings, and almost all trainings are offered by the YMCA.
