They offer two different retirement plan one you can start now, and the other 401k you can do after several years of working there. I know they offer to match a percentage as well.
The Y definitely has a great retirement plan, that I can definitely vouch for them. Once you retire from the Y you would be set and living comfortably (I guess that kinda makes up for the low salary.)
good plan glad for it
Best retirement plan! Within 2 years of working, the Y will contribute a significant percentage to your fund.
They offer a 12% employer paid retirement, plus a 403B plan
The hourly wage doesnt allow for even a well budgeted individual to commit money to the plan
Percentage is high for 403b program but salaries are so low that it balances out to be an average plan at best for all but high level execs
this plan is very good
It is fine, again like any other job. The retirement plan usually helps out later on if I decide to leave.
12% added after 2 years of service without any from you
