The best thing about their benefits is the PTO, retirement, tuition reimbursement, health insurance, dental, vision. The worst is that holidays come out of your PTO
Good health insurance, they have great employee assistance programs and retirement benefits. Great match percentage on their 403b plan and annual bonuses for employees at the year end based on hospital performance.
Multiple options available depending on family size
Keeps getting diluted out each year. Benefits used to be great (medical). I think the retirement benefits still are decent, however. I can't necessarily blame Yale, I think this maybe a national issue, though, but its pretty bad, and employees are feeling it. Morale is bad because of this and some other issues.
Great benefits package covering you and your family for all employees
Resident medical insurance for you and family completely covered by hospital. Dental and Vision for ~ $7 a month. 401K offered. However, only 2 weeks PTO
Best: Great PTO and great health insurance, standard 401k, pension which these days is a rarity... Worst: nothing
Still have to pay too much out of pocket for insurance. Co-pay to use ER $150. Multiple bills after procedure and/or hospital visits.
My health insurance is very comprehensive through Yale.
The hospital does give a good benefit package. I have been at the hospital a long time and we do have to pay more for health insurance then we used to but that is a sign of the times and is like that now for most companies.
