One of the best benefit packages in the country...
Healthcare Insurance, Dental, and Vision. Plenty of PTO.
The health insurance is really good; I've gone to physical therapy for many years and haven't had to pay anything for the service. There are no University-wide standards for paid-time off (it is left to the discretion of each person's individual boss); my boss 'strong requests' we work >60 hours/week and at least 6 days/week.
State of the art research and hospital facilities -- all in one place
Very cheap health plan, excellent retirement plan, reasonably good paid time off, great research environment. Always have chances to go to various seminar if you are interested in science.
Great benefit package includes 401K, FSA accounts. Very expensive fares for use of employer-owned facilities (daycare, parking)
The healthcare at Yale is basically free. Top notch pediatricians made this benefits package 100% worth it.
Retirement package: automatic 5% contributed to 403b by Yale. On top of that, there is an additional 5% match for employee contributions. Roth option as well.
Healthcare is affordable and the connection to the Yale New Haven Hospital is useful
Yale health is great insurance
