There are no benefits packages for part time employees. Most front of the house staff (servers, hosts, bussers, etc. are all part-time). Requesting time off is usually approved (depending on performance and # of staff) but you have to request off about 3 weeks in advance. Otherwise, you have to find a cover (and have that cover approved by management).
