The bonus package was very attractive. Also the opportunity to work from home was another positive.
The deductible is 2,000 dollars a month min. Therefore you have to pay that out of pocket before the company pays for anything at all. If you healthy and just want a normal physical and well care thats a lot of money.
best - get all PTO upfront, however it technically accrues so if u use it all before you accure it, you have to pay it back
401K could be a better match.
Start with 2 weeks vacation and 4 personal days. Sick time is not limited to 5 days.
The best thing about the benefits package is that it is suited for families. If you are a single parent or even just single without children, your premiums were very close to the premium for a family of five. Not very convenient. Also, the cost itself was a good $400 monthly, which took a huge chunk out of your pay and almost negates the plan for a big family because you may not have the finances to pay for childcare, bills, and medical benefits.
Vacation and personal time is good. Sick pay is very good.
It continued to work long after I'd quit. Ha ha!
