Good benefits. Paid holidays. Wish they had dental coverage.
Mediocre health insurance, unclear retirement investment plan, sick leave is plentiful and accrues quickly, PTO accrues about 7 hours per full-time month worked for the first year or so. Limited maternity leave with pay is a new benefit. Bereavement leave is a good benefit.

Youth Villages has a great benefits package for individuals and families. I have never had any issues with the medical, dental or vision benefits. In addition, we have several extended policies like short-term disability and paid parental leave. I would say we most likely have one of the best benefits packages compared to other organizations like our own.
The health insurance premiums are expensive. The training opportunities are great.
The worst thing about the benefits package is that it may be confusing at times to understand all your options. However, once you know all your choices the packages are great.
