The caliber of coverage is better than other comparable companies. It may not be the least expensive, but solid benefit options.
Yum offers 4 weeks vacation to employees at all levels upon hiring and offers bonus 2 weeks in certain service years
I worked for YUM Corporate and am happy to say that the benefits are very competitive with other employers of similar size.
4 weeks vacation, half day Fridays, 6% 401k match, excellent health package
I was a contractor so I can only speak to that experience. I wasn't offered any paid time off, the contracting company Pomeroy offered health insurance with a $10,000 yearly deductible for families and $5,000 for individual. Thank god I had insurance through my husband's work. 401k offered no matching.
New hires start with 4 weeks of vacation (plus 1 week of personal), 18 weeks of maternity leave, 2 extra weeks of vacation in the 10th, 20th, 30th year. This is good and bad as somebody has to do the work while all this PTO is being utilized.
Excellent overall benefit package. Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription coverage with FSA. On-Site child care and fitness center. 4 weeks of PTO for all new employees and half day Fridays all year.
Great salary and benefits, but uncertain job security
good medical with HRA, Dental is so-so, Legal, VIsion and Insurance all options
Plenty of time off. Really flexible with using your time as you need it. Was able to work from home during bad weather. High co pay for medical visits. Even if you elect to have an FSA, money taken from checks were not put on card provided. You had to pay for the items up front and then contact benefits to be reimbursed for it. Kinda defeats the purpose of it.
