The Health benefits are amazing. However, this is no profit sharing and while an annual bonus is usually guaranteed it can be quite lacking.
Vacation, sick days, and snow days all come from the same pool of PTO days - which have to be used by the end of the calendar year or they are gone.
It's a very standard benefits package for a large game company. Company-made 401K contributions take several years to fully vest though.
Great insurance, great 401K!
Co-pay is extremely low. Very easy to add or remove spouse/family members. Accepted by many doctors offices in the area.
Best: flex schedule Worst: no sick leave, and subpar inclement weather policy.
Best - on site gym, company subsidized cafeteria Worst - no sick days, no flexible hours, no work from home, no inclement weather policy
No benefits for contract employees. This is sort of disingenuous considering the long hours the contractors put in and the stress this puts on the mind and body. I personally got sick a few times from being in contact with so many people so frequently and the stress put on my body from sitting for 15 hours a day in some cases. Free snacks, breakfast, pizza on fridays, donuts, free employee gym, relax area with a pool table and old school video games definitely helped to forget about not having any other benefits except discounts on their current and ex-gen games.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
