Zions Bancorporation gives benefits to all employees who are regularly scheduled to work 20 hours per week or more in a regular-status position.
It's flexible. You can pick a plan that works for you, but it is pretty standard for full time employees. It's great for part timers.
The worst thing is the cost of health care. A lot is taken out every check for insurance but if you or a loved one ends up in the hospital you still end up in debt because you have to pay $10000.00 out of pocket before anything is covered by the company.
There is no benefits. The lowest deductible is 5k for an individual and 9k for a family. You pay whatever fees the doctors set with no assistance until you hit the deductible. There are no cop pays until after you hit the deductible. California law forces zions to offer real insurance to the residents there. Complete joke
HSA and high deductible plans were reasonably priced.
everything is really great except the health insurance is high deductible, with no traditional options....but the rest of the benefits are so good they outweigh the lame health insurance

The worst thing about the benefits package at zions bancorporation is their high deductible plans for health insurance. You end up paying up to 11 grand before you start getting help fromm insurance.
High deductible with the insurance
The most unusual thing is that Zions self-insures for dental. Your upfront cost is all out-of-pocket, but reimbursed later by 50%, usually quickly.
Great dental benefits. $1700 per year for minimal premium cost. Nice 401k match, 100% for first 3% and 50% of next 2%.
